Designed by James Braid, the Cawder Golf Course, with its stunning views over the Campsie Hills and golf holes that test the best of golfers, opened for play in 1934.
The Cawder course, a par 70 measuring 6,297 yards, is a great test of golf. With its mixture of lush fairways, woodland and water features, it presents a wonderful challenge of golf for every standard of golfer.
It has a wide variety of holes of differing designs, presenting new challenges for the golfer especially the picturesque 14th and 15th where water is a main feature.
The signature 18th hole, a par three of 209 yards, overlooked by and downhill towards the magnificent 17th century mansion clubhouse, brings a wonderful round of golf to a perfect end.
Cawder Golf Club will be hosting the Celtic / Rangers fans heat on Monday 6th September, followed by the Hamilton / Motherwell heat on Tuesday 7th September.
Places in both heats are strictly limited and are priced at only £75 + VAT per player.
